This project
This one was simple.
I made a music video.
No big setup. No overproduction. Just an idea, a camera, and a decision to actually follow through.
But the reason behind it mattered more than the video itself.
What This Video Is Really About
On the surface, it’s just a music video.
But underneath, it’s about belief.
Not in the work, but in the person behind it.
Why I Made This
Mack is one of my closest friends.
And like a lot of people, he doesn’t fully see his own potential yet.
I walked in from work, looked at him, and said:
“Give me two hours. I’ll have a video done for you.”
Not because everything was perfect.
Not because we had some crazy setup.
But because I knew we didn’t need it.
The Process
This was as raw as it gets.
No drawn-out planning. No waiting for the right moment.
Just:
- show up
- shoot
- put something together
Fast decisions. Real energy. No excuses.
Key Takeaway
You don’t need the fancy gear.
You don’t need the perfect setup.
You need a vision.
And you need enough faith to act on it.
That’s it.
Reflection
A lot of people are waiting.
Waiting until they have better equipment.
More time. More money. More confidence.
And they never start.
This was a reminder that none of that is required.
If you see something in yourself, or in someone else, move on it.
Build it. Create it. Prove it.
